{"id":211,"date":"2010-03-21T13:44:04","date_gmt":"2010-03-21T18:44:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.harrowedhalls.com\/wordpress\/?p=211"},"modified":"2010-03-25T05:46:06","modified_gmt":"2010-03-25T10:46:06","slug":"normcon-report-preview","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.harrowedhalls.com\/wordpress\/?p=211","title":{"rendered":"NormCon Report Preview"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well NormCon is over but we had a blast.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 Here&#8217;s a rundown of the games we played.\u00c2\u00a0 Pictures, details, and humorous anecdotes will follow in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.harrowedhalls.com\/con_reports\/2010\/NormCon2010.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">official Con Report<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 Cheers!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Realms of Cthulhu<\/strong><br \/>\nThe weekend started Friday night with Evil Mike&#8217;s <em>House on Haunted Hill<\/em> inspired <em>Realms of Cthulhu<\/em> game on Friday night.\u00c2\u00a0 Much horror and hilarity ensued from many critical failures and the balcony railing&#8230;we followed up the game by watching the movie!\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Savage Sci-Fi<\/strong><br \/>\nSaturday morning Chaos Steve ran a scifi game using AT-43 figs.\u00c2\u00a0 Lots of great scenery and figs and we even got to pick our own combination of mechanized suits and characters, very cool!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tour of Darkness<br \/>\n<\/strong>Next up was Dave McGuire&#8217;s<em> Tour of Darkness<\/em> near TPK!\u00c2\u00a0 Nothing like a helicopter crash and losing all my gear to make me start counting each shot carefully so I don&#8217;t run out of bullets!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Savage Fantasy<br \/>\n<\/strong>Finally we ended the weekend with Norm&#8217;s Old School fantasy game!\u00c2\u00a0 Norm ran us through the new Reality Blurs &#8220;Keg for Dragon&#8221; adventure.\u00c2\u00a0 I&#8217;d completely forgotten that fantasy can be fun!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well NormCon is over but we had a blast.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 Here&#8217;s a rundown of the games we played.\u00c2\u00a0 Pictures, details, and humorous anecdotes will follow in the official Con Report.\u00c2\u00a0 Cheers!
