Game 4B

Game 4B:

The crew continues their resistance against the Insectoid patrol that is harassing the Floran Miners. The key events were:

Dr. Stone turns out to be on board the Insectoid ship, having been picked up after leaving the space port. He is able to disable his insectoid guard. Hitler soon joins him in the ship. Dr. Stone expertly hacks their system then proceeds to critically fail in broadcasting the images from the Mine to the other systems. Instead the images went to the Insectoid command at the spaceport and they realized they had a potential nightmare. If their squad killed everybody, no big deal, no one would know that it wasn’t a tragic accident. But, if the squad is run off, then there could be serious flack.
The crew managed to get into the vehicles and use them to somewhat good effect. Unfortunately, Dasantas got many holes shot into him and Jack Shift got beat down hard.
Then, Walter sent his drone with a methane bomb on it, out to assist. That roll missed…in a spectacular explosion of a tank full of highly combustable material.

Deaths: Dasantas and Jack Shift.

Rewards:

The insectoids reported the squad had gone rogue and decided to refuel the crews’ ship for free.
Let them keep the gatling laser rifles from the squad they had picked up.
Made the Floran Mine a no fly zone.
Destroyed all copies of the video showing what happened at the mine.
Provided a “safe zone” for future media reporting on the planet.
Everyone gets an advancement so all PCs (regardless of how many games they were in) are at 4 advances.

Rec Hub:

There are several new jobs (in addition to previous) available on the Rec Hub including:
- Recover Crashed Vehicle and Cargo (Hecabe)
- Retrieve Stolen Artifact – Must be capable of major combat (Kupie)
- Retrieve Heavy Walker (Kupie)

Optional Fun:

Anyone who makes a networking roll (persuasion or intimidation – make sure to let me know which one you do). No bennies can be used, but free re-rolls are ok. I will let you know what you find out.
