My leadership skills are indeed growing at a prodigious rate. Once again Col. Jaeger showed her confidence in my abilities by assigning me the task of saving, not only the JC701, but the entire quadrant. And while I was at it, I was to rescue Dr. Smith who got himself trapped on the space station stronghold of the local pirates.
In no time at all I had negotiated a truce with the pirates, obtained much needed medical supplies, and rescued the grateful Dr. Smith. (He keeps insisting I call him “Sam”, but it’s unseemly for a leader to be on a first-name basis with his subordinates.)
Furthermore, my team was given the task to create a cure for the deadly virus sweeping the quadrant. The earlier medical supplies I had acquired only places the plague in remission. Now my job was to see that a cure was found and found quickly! Not wasting any time we got to work.
I’m proud to say the EMO vaccine is a grand success. The quadrant is saved for good from that deadly virus.
