Journal of Science Office Emo of JumpCorp
    Frame of Reference: 6

With all of my responsibilities I almost completely forgot about the ultimatum the Rigellian ambassador laid down—bring to justice those responsible for the bombing (that nearly killed us both) or there will be war!

Hours later we were deep within Rigellian space on a Rigellian slaver planet posing as slaves. Our goal was to find proof that the Rigellian slaver named Vigo was behind the bombing. Per the Jump Corp Tactics manual (pg. 174) we used a two prong strategy. While most of the team posed as slaves, Mr. Brilliant and Dr. Smith would obtain the needed data.

As understand it, the plan “went south”, as Trigger put it, when Mr. Brilliant set off a silent alarm entering a secured data vault. Per Dr. Smith, He and Mr. Brilliant spent much of the remaining time trading attacks with 10 to 12 ape-like aliens (forensics suggest only one or two aliens were present).

As for those of us posing as slaves, at the alarm Vigo became violent and ordered us killed. We all did our best to survive. I used my head and went after Vigo, nearly killing him with my continuous helmet bashing. Eventually all of the head bashing took its toll on my helmet. It shattered.

After that I became disoriented, but still managed remain in command. My team performed to the best of their abilities. We recovered proof that Vigo and Pres. Cable were working together to cause a fracture in the human-Rigellian uneasy peace. This averted a Rigellian-Human war and saved the countless lives. Much like the Emo vaccine, which has now gone generic and is covered by most insurance plans.

Later, expecting Col Jaeger to be well pleased with my leadership, I instead found her screaming at me (as she often does) about contraband crates on the JC701 and conspiring with space pirates.

Just another day at Jump Corp.
